What is it?

Liturgy of the Word for Children celebrates the first part of the Mass but it is adapted for children. The adaptation includes:

• Scripture readings put into language children can understand
• Only 2 readings the first and the third are proclaimed
• The homily is given in dialogue form

What it is not

• It is not a religion class or a substitute     for it
• It is not craft or play time

Where is it?
Children meet in one of the school’s classrooms.

CLW is available during the Sunday 9:00am and 10:30am Masses. The program runs September through May.
