St. Isidore has a very active Music Ministry that welcomes spirited singers and skillful instrumentalists. Please accept this invitation and join one of the many groups who are dedicated to leading St. Isidore Church in song and by enhancing the spirit of the Liturgy with the gift of music. Music is a very important facet of any Liturgy and our duties as leaders of worship music are also essential. Let’s work together to encourage and spiritually motivate our community to join together and raise their voices in song. Let us also develop a repertoire of choral and instrumental music that when shared with the congregation can spiritually move, soothe or energize them. And let us not forget our own spiritual growth through the further understanding of our call to this dynamic ministry. No experience is required to join.Call for more information.
Saturday Adult Choir Weekly Saturday Mass – 4:00 PM-Rehearsal time required (And other selected Liturgies and special occasions).
The men and women of the Saturday Adult Choir enjoy preparing two-part sacred music for the Saturday Liturgy. Their repertoire is a wonderful mix of today’s contemporary sacred music.
Children’s Choir Weekly Sunday Mass – 9:00 AM-Rehearsal time required (And other selected Liturgies and special occasions).
The Children’s Choir ranges in age from 5 through 12 years old. This is a wonderful opportunity for the young singer to become an active part in church music while learning about their role in the Music Ministry. The Children’s Choir also sings for other Liturgies and special occasions such as Christmas and Easter.
Sunday Adult Choir Weekly Sunday Mass – 10:30 AM-Rehearsal time required (And other selected Liturgies and special occasions).
The Sunday Adult Choir’s repertoire arranges from four part sacred classical works to contemporary favorites. Those who participate have the opportunity to develop and hone their skills that are necessary to grow in this ministry. This choir is an integral part of the Christmas and Easter Liturgies, which are often accompanied by a chamber orchestra.
Young Adult Choir Weekly Sunday Mass – 12:15 PM-Rehearsal time required (And other selected Liturgies and special occasions).
This choir is for any spirit-filled young adult. This is a perfect opportunity to use your voices and instruments to shape the Sunday 12:15 PM liturgy with your dedication and spirit. Our hope and plans include many voices along with those who play instruments like bass, drums, guitars, piano, keyboard, brass and woodwinds.
