Adopted Mission Project St. Isidore supports a Mexican Mission and missionary in Baja California. A special September benefit is held, including a celebration of a Mexican Mass. This project is held every year at St. Isidore to raise funds. Donations for our adopted mission are accepted anytime during the year. Through our parish efforts, we support a breakfast program that has fed over 80-180 children. We also assisted in the building of a chapel & cafeteria. We have helped to obtain better utensils and equipment for the kitchen; also to help get storage for water and have milk and fruit for most of the year (instead of buying weekly). |

Our ministry collects and ships clothing, shoes, computers, bikes, toys, school & medical supplies and other needed items to these orphanages. In addition, we fund special needs and capital projects. Over 3,500 boys and girls from infants to young adults make up this very special family of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos. |

St. Mary’s Center, Oakland
St. Isidore Parish provides ongoing support for the children and low-income elderly at St. Mary's Center in Oakland. The support provided includes food, books, and toys for children at the preschool day care center as well as items on the center’s wish list and for distribution at Christmas. Our parishioners contribute four times a year by donating food, money and time. They also help with providing a delicious nourishing dinner, accompanied by a little visit. The elderly really enjoy the dinners and the visiting companions. |
Young at Hearts
Serves lunch to Senior citizens on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Young at Heart has a raffle at the luncheons that helps support the cost of groceries.
Would you like to enjoy a pleasant afternoon with a congenial group of friends and neighbors? Then come to Young at Hearts where we begin the afternoon with Mass in the St. Isidore Room at 11:15 AM, and then followed by lunch and non-profit Bingo. We look forward to having you join us.
